Welcome Back!

Happy New Year! I hope you and your family had a nice winter break.

Our leader is sharing his poster with the class.

Monster Work:
We designed our very own monsters then had to use descriptive words to write about our monster.
Our buddy had to read our descriptions and draw the monster.
We are learning how adjectives help us as readers to paint a picture of the story.

We are exploring 3-D shapes with Polydrons.

We are practicing telling time.

We listened to Grandfather Tang's Story
Afterwards we explored tangrams and used the tans to create different animals from the text.

Our leader is sharing pictures from home.

Our 5th grade buddies came to visit for some Mindfulness activities and a special project.
We played a game with our buddy where we rolled a die to design our very own monster.
After designing our monster, we worked with our 5th grade buddy to create a story using descriptive words to help the reader paint a picture in his/her mind.
Finally, we used ChatterKid to make our monster come to life. Our monster shared the story on Seesaw!

Our leader is reading his book to the class!

During Word Work, we are busy with sorting and practicing our spelling for our words in our sort.

Our leader is sharing his talent with the class.
Can you make your tongue touch your nose?
